Carne Asada Street Tacos

  • (3 lbs) Thousand Hills Skirt Steak
  • (2 tbsp) Vegetable Oil
  • (1, Chopped) Onion
  • (3) Fresh Limes
  • (1 bundle) Cilantro
  • (2/3 stick) Butter
  • (1 tsp) Salt
  • (1 tsp) Pepper
  • (16, mini) Corn Tortillas


Thinly slice steak, then chop into bite size pieces 

In a skillet, begin to brown in the oil

Add in half of the onions and cook until soft

Season with salt and pepper, and squeeze the juice of 2 limes over the meat and onion mixture

While the steak is cooking, melt butter in another skillet 

Fry the mini corn tortillas in the melted butter for approx. 1 minute or until soft 

Allow them to cool slightly 

(You will need 2 tortillas per taco)

Spoon meat and onion mixture on the tortillas 

Top with cilantro, fresh onions, and serve with lime wedges
